Ok, thought this would be fun. Other blogs are doing their annual blog predictions for 2006 so I thought I’d try my hand at it too.
1. Jason Calacanis will get drunk at a Q2/06 Engadget meetup in NYC, pass out, and wake up to Nick Denton tatooing “A OooooooH! L” on his thigh.
2. Google will buy Wordpress and start delivering adsense ads to the dashboard inside everyone’s admin area, much to the dismay of Matt, About.com and Yahoo!
3. Jeremy Wright will get fired from his position as CEO of b5media and subsequently put up a “Blog Network Manager For Hire” auction on eBay.
4. Cowboy, from JackOfAllBlogs will jump-ship at 9rules and land in a Gawker lifeboat without getting his feet wet.
5. The Manolo will reveal his true identity - his real name? Mark Cuban.
6. Duncan Riley will be approached by Sirius to do a blog reality satellite radio show based on b5media’s SimplyDumb.
7. I will relaunch the Bloglogic network under a different name, with a total of 6 blogs to start and grow it into a mid to high 6 figure company in under a year.
Happy New Year! ![]()

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !
Thanks for all the excitement, the thought provoking commentary, the help, the heartache and just a generally wild-ass ride that was ‘05…I cannot wait to see how ‘06 unfolds….I’ll bet you really show ‘em what The Canadian Bad Boy is made of !
Peace,

My predictions are no more absurd than some I’ve seen floating around out there
And Merry Christmas guys! I hope 2006 is even more exciting than 2005 was… but in a more positive way for everyone.

Predictions are just that, Predictions, but keep in mind that often some of them come true…
My prediction, Watch this space…
And Paul, Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
I trust that 2006 treats you better than 2005.
All the best!

I think a sure bet is that Paul will build Meatball marketing into a media magnet that will be acquired by Sir Richard Branson and that Paul will hire me to be his caddie and official fly fishing guide.
At $1,034,715/year !
