New Year New Language

Written January 1st, 2006 by Paul in General, Personal

I want to do something to expand my horizons on a personal level this year, so what better way to do that than by learning a new language?

Yes, I know what you’re about to say… “Why try and learn a new language when he doesn’t even have a grasp of this one?” and here’s my response - “All you need to know is enough to get by…”

I’ll start first by expanding my French. It is, afterall, one of 2 official languages here in Canada, not to mention le Français est la langue de l’amour.

Then I’ll branch out into Spanish, puedo comenzar tan a rasgar de sitios españoles de la tela. ;-)

Feliz Año Nuevo

Pablo.

You’re on your own with Spanish (although I probably should learn it at some point), but I’d be happy to back and forth with you in French.

It would give me a chance to brush up…seeing as how I’ve forgotten nearly everything I’ve learned in 4 years ROFL.

Teli, is it because I pointed out that french is “the language of love?” ;-)
