Cool PubCon Links - Guys vs. Gals

Written April 23rd, 2006 by Paul in General

Well, the PubCon conference in Boston is finished (yeah, the one I almost went to) and there are a lot of great posts up on blogs about it.

One thing I noticed after s(m)urfing around for coverage is how male bloggers highlighted a lot different things than the female bloggers. To see what I’m talking about, have a look at the links below:

Lynn Terry - Funny Moments In Boston

Teli Adlam - PubCon 2006 In Boston (Notable Quotes)

And from some of the guys:

Garrett French - PubCon Blog Link Roundup

Martinibuster - WMW PubCon Thread

Ok, so in case you didn’t catch the subtle differences in what guys and gals took home from PubCon, I’ll spell it out for you - Guys partied after the events and blog about the event, girls party and blog about partying.

When I go to the PubCon event in November in Vagas, I won’t be blogging about anything. I’ll be too freakin hungover.

    Hey Paul,
You may need to edit it that to say “women blog about partying and the sessions.” I’ve been recovering so the session notes will be online shortly. :)

Ahh, a little humor never hurts ;)

Like Teli, I am still organizing notes and posting tidbits along the way - including my recent “quick recap”. There was definitely a lot to blog about following this trip!
